Dear Bay Area Wobs,

Thank you for very much for the $200 contribution. Our branch has high organizing expenses because of long distances we have to travel in this sparsely populated, mountainous area. But the work of combining timber workers and Earth First!ers in the same union, to fight for both the forests and the jobs, seems worth the effort. Not only have you helped us materially with this project, but you help show the timber workers in our local what union solidarity should be--and that's something they've never seen in from their AFL(-CIO) union.
